Well, as it stands right now I only have digital imagery on one of our Network Gaming 'Fests.   This particular session took place almost a year ago on the weekend of May 15th, 16th and 17th, 1998.  This page has a LOT of pictures on it, and this Web server is a little shy on bandwidth, so I apologize in advance for the long load time.  As time goes by, this area will grow and you will see some more of the folks who "Play to Win" !!!

Early arrivals test the Network

In this photo you see Jack and Steve performing preliminary Checks and Network tests as Steve's wife Norma looks over their shoulders.

Is it stable yet? Jack and Steve are still working out the kinks in this photo.   Sometimes the preliminary tests can be fun too !!!
Hello? Domino's? Believe it or not, Steve is not on the phone with Domino's®.   At this stage of the game (no pun intended) we only have three players, so Steve is trying find out where everybody is and to drum up some interest by recruiting some "Fresh Meat".
Planning the first round of battle Great!  A new arrival.  Ken joins the gang, so now we've got just enough players to make things interesting.  In this shot you see Steve, Andreas, Ken and Jack.  In the background you can see Tracey putting the finishing touches on the refreshments which will be served later. . .
Alright Ken, let's give those guys downstairs a run for their money Here we find Ken and Andreas preparing for the first round of battle. . .
You guys are no match for the Master !!! Steve takes an early lead.  Meanwhile, Jack, Ken and Andreas are still getting warmed up. . .
Come and get me you stinking bastards !!! Ken still hasn't quite warmed up yet.  Well maybe if the rest of us would leave him alone for more than five seconds. . .   . . .one Thousand One, one Thousand Two, one Thousand Three. . .  Bang, Pow, Zap !!!  Sorry Ken. . .   See ya' next life. . .
This keyboard position gives me an edge over those other chumps. . .

Believe it or not Jack has been known to kick some serious butt in spite of his unorthodox keyboard position. . .  Of course having a full load of "Multiple Fire Rocket Launcher" doesn't hurt.

Click here to see one ugly mutha'. . .

Speaking of unorthodox, here we catch a partial glimpse of Andreas's Net'gaming posture.  Right hand on his joystick, left on the throttle.  Of course with all those buttons at his disposal (26 in all!) you'll never see his hands leave the controls to reach for the keyboard. . .

Ken says, "How does he always find me so fast?" As you can see in this shot, Andreas has a bit of advantage over Ken due to the fact that he can peek over his monitor to see what Ken is up to. . .
Larry to Randy: "Do you see me on the Network?" Fresh meat arrives !!!
Any day now Larry. . . Randy and Larry are up on the "Net" in record time.   As Larry finishes his joystick configuration and testing, Randy waits patiently for the next game to start.
Nice lookin' graphics there Randy

Well, now that Randy and Larry are finished setting up their "Hard Core" gaming machines, now the "REAL" fun can begin !!!

Mommy's Alright! Daddy's Alright! (ya' know "Cheap Trick") Now that the whole gang is here, gaming their asses off, and killing each other, here's sort of a "Birds Eye View" of "Network Central". . .
Please !!! Take my picture some more. . . The camera just loves Steve.

As you can see in this scene, the feeling is definitely mutual. . .    ;-)

The perfect Hostess. What more could you want? Tracey prepares the credenza for and feast fit for a King. . .   O.K. a Prince then. . .
YUMMIE !!! Roy doesn't play Forsaken® (he doesn't know what he's missing),   but he sure serves up them dogs mighty nice.
What. . . ? Me Worry? Yeah right ! Norma looks on as Jack and Steve defend themselves against heavy fire from Ken and Andreas upstairs.
The thrill of Victory ! Ken gets a "Hot Streak" and takes the lead. . .    for about five seconds. . .    ;-)
Steve: "You chumps upstairs can't beat me. I am the Master of this 'Forsaken' level." In the end Steve reigns victorious. . .  again. . .
Two generations of Computer Geeks Father and Daughter ham it up for the camera.
